Tommy Neiman, a Fire Fighter / Paramedic in Fort Pierce, Florida has done it again!  He has written another thought provoking, Christian inspirational Fire Safety book, this time aimed at our Countries Youth.

Part work-book, part fun reading, Sirens for the Cross for the Rookie Rescuer is presented in a way that kids aged 7 to 13 get valuable insight into firefighting and emergency response.  The book is intertwined with special emphasis on how God's presence and guidance is a must for Tommy and his daily work in Public Service.

Fire Knows NO Boundries

Often times, people assume....... Tragic things only happen to others; it could never happen to me or my family.

Another common assumption is that Fires strike only the less affluent folks.

Buzzly knows those statements are not true, and so does Chick-fil-A National restaurant President and Chief Operating Officer Dan Cathy.   

Mr. Cathy had a horrific accident April 29th, 2002 (see the letter below from Dan).   Dan wrote a book   "The Burning Brush Experience" .   It is an easy to read, informative, Spiritually inspiration book told as only a Burn Survivor can tell it.

Hurting Angels

Buzzly and His Tree House Buddies would like to introduce you to one of his favorite authors. 

Delores Lekowski is an author, a Fire Safety Advocate and a Burn Survivor.  She suffered severe burns in an accident as a child.  Throughout her life Delores has devoted herself to Fire Safety education and prevention of fire tragedies.  She is an accomplished speaker; often times called to Congress to testify and educate on burn prevention.  She not only states the factual data, but she also can recount first hand the trauma encountered by fire victims and their families.

In her first book, "Hurting Angels", Delores  uses stories of burn victims and inspirational messages aimed toward children to  promote higher self-esteem even during the most difficult times.

Ms. Lekowski's most recent book,  "The Power Angels"  is more than a collection of stories of burn survivors and their  lives after recovery, it is  also a  "life handbook"  with inspiration and value for everyone's life.
