the house that will build her...

Miranda Lambert's song, "The house that built me," came on while I was editing this session.  I found it fitting.  This little love and her delightful parents have just moved into a beautiful new (yet old and charming) home.  I can't help but think ahead to all of the milestones that will occur on those hardwood floors in a kitchen full of light...first steps, tents under the table, birthday parties, helping mommy cook.  I can only hope one day she will see these images and be reminded of the family that gathered, the laughter shared and memories made in this very room.
